Privacy notice

What we do with your personal data when you use this website or make an enquiry, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated 25 September 2026

Who we are

Amram Finance Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 12732370.

For any question about how we handle your data, write to us at the address below or email info@amramfinance.com.

What we collect

When you make an enquiry through this website, we collect:

  • Identity and contact data — your name, and your telephone number or email address.
  • Enquiry data — details of the deal: the type of finance, the property, its value, the amount you need, your timescale, your exit plan and anything you tell us in a message.
  • Technical and attribution data — the page you arrived on, the website that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed. This is stored in a first-party cookie so we know where enquiries come from.
  • Consent records — the date and time you agreed to be contacted.
  • A truncated IP address — shortened so it cannot identify you, used only to prevent abuse of our forms.

If your enquiry progresses, we will need considerably more: identification documents, proof of address, bank statements, income evidence, property details and credit information. We will explain what is needed and why at that point.

Who we share it with

  • Lenders on our panel — only the lenders we agree with you are appropriate for your case, and only once you have asked us to approach them.
  • Valuers and solicitors involved in your transaction.
  • Service providers who operate our systems: our hosting provider, our email provider and our analytics providers. They act on our instructions and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
  • Regulators, credit reference agencies and law enforcement where we are required to.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Your data is stored and processed within the United Kingdom. Where a service provider needs to process it elsewhere, we will only use one that provides an equivalent standard of protection under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not proceed — 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
  • Cases that complete — six years from the end of our relationship with you, which covers the period required for regulatory record-keeping and for the defence of legal claims.
  • Identity and anti-money-laundering records — five years from the end of the business relationship, as required by law.
  • Website analytics — retained by the analytics provider according to our configured retention period, and held in aggregated rather than identifiable form.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it
  • object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests
  • ask us to restrict how we use it while a concern is resolved
  • ask for your data in a portable format
  • withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on

To exercise any of these, email info@amramfinance.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

We set a small number of first-party cookies to make the site work and, with your permission, to understand how it is used. Full details are in our cookie policy, where you can also change your choices.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in encrypted databases within the UK. Access is limited to the people who need it. We do not store payment card details, and we will never ask you for a password or a full card number.
