The desk reviews every appraisal before it goes to a lender: costs, contingency, programme, professional team and the comparables supporting the gross development value. Where an appraisal does not stack up, we say so at the first conversation rather than at the valuation.
It also manages drawdowns, monitoring surveyor relationships and the transition onto development exit finance as schemes complete.
